Best way to record driver footwell and speedo

I was hoping for any suggestions as how to record the driver footwell and speedometer. I have a range of cameras, including a GoPro and a compact cam with min 2cm macro lens. But the biggest issue was how to attach them to the car. The footwell I think I have sorted since I can velcro it or use one of the GoPro sticky 3M mounts and possibly stick small 5cm LED torch there. Although not sure about the speedo.

Any ideas?

Depending on how serious you want to be there are several datalogging systems available which will allow you to overlay information such as speed, revs etc over video.

Use a mini Fat Gecko from Delkin Devices to mount your camera to the driver's window targeting the speedo

Bear in mind - if these are for the track, they and their fixings will have to pass scrutineering.

Yes it is for track days. But I want inside of the car, not the outside. Think I will use the stick pads for footwell and zip ties for speedo. Probably the easiest way - enough zip ties and you can do anything apparently

I think any camera mounts in the vehicle still have to be checked..

Well I dont mind them checking. Although they didn't at Rockingham and plenty of people there had them on the outside of the car and inside (like I did). I shall check. Either way, they mounts provided by GoPro are solid and will be fine.
