Hi

Ive got one of these

And one of these

After wrecking a set of Pirellis years ago Im a bit OCD with tyre pressures

The thing is both of the above read different pressures, they are 20% out at least

So the question is simple - which would you trust?
And for a supplementary are garage air lines equally random or a gold standard?

Cheers

I've got a digital gauge from Halfords and a Michelin foot pump with analogue dial and they give very consistent readings.

I would trust your pump gauge.

I've got that hi power tyre inflator, and when checked against an analogue draper dial gauge it was pretty much bang on.. so unless the gauge is also out, i'd say just use the inflator and it should be fine, it does say accurate to +/- 1psi as well.
