Spring and dampers for the M
Discussion
Need some advices prior to a change of shock absorbers and springs (front and rear) on the 3000s. I use my car for fast road/classic rally and some trackdays sometimes, but no real racing. Rear springs are totally worn now.
What model/brand do you recommend from your experience?
Got some bad comments from Lotus friends on Spax and EVO dampers (prone to oil leak under hard use according those Lotus owners). Some says the ultimate choice would be Pro-Tech dampers, for same price than Spax/avo or so.
About springs, what brand/ ID height/rate on front and rear would you recommend for my fast road/rally use?
Eibach and Hyperco sounds good...
One more question : the M chassis seems have been concepted to be used with a pair of shock absorbers on each rear wheel... Is it useful to put 4 dampers/spring at the back or is just a stupid expense unless for a full racecar?
Thanks for advices !
