One of ours - now 3.5 years - did this. Had her vet checked and were told not to worry, and she's fine now, if a bit 'messy' sometimes - requires a shower!!
I'd get it checked out - but then I over fuss over my feline family I know - just better safe than sorry is my view for all a consultation costs.

Unlikely to be a real problem, unless becomes more blood/ mucous than normal faeces.
Do you feed her dry food?
A cats colon is quite prone to bursting little blood vessels if they strain to defaecate, it is rarely a major problem esp in a young cat but it may suggest more moisture in her diet. If a lot of mucous it may be a sensitivity to something in the diet.
My cat has done it on occasions for years (he's 15 now) it was improved with a change of diet.
I should add a vet check wouldn't be wrong just to be on the safe side.

My cats used to be quite frequent.
Research on T'internet at the time said it was nothing to worry about and the Vet confirmed the same.
I remember once when my mother looked after Beefy when I was on holiday (before I had Mimi) she phoned me when I was 1000 odd miles away due to an emergency she had found in the litter box which turned out to be a small amount of blood.
At the time I was feeding him Science Plan Natures Best, I think it was a bit rich for him so switched him to the Normal Science plan and it got better, although I found both Mimi and Beefy didn't really enjoy it so much.
They now eat Royal Canine British Shorthair Food and no more traces of blood, and they lap it up as the tastiest food yet! everyones a winner.... well except me as its a bit dearer.
