Having never been to a 'festival' me and the lads have decided to go to one next year!
Not sure which one to choose, they all seem good to me!

Can anybody share experiences etc?

Cheers

It depends on what kind of music you like.

I'm easy, I like most things! But I prefer soft rock, things like Jamie T, Stereophonics and that kind of thing.. Not a fan of metal!

a softy eh? v festival then. not download or sonisphere. Wait for the lineups to be announced I think would be your best bet.

Probably going Download again this year. Gotta wait for a lineup though.

Even if you don't like the bands, it's still an awesome week. And one where you'll see stuff you'll never see again.

Been to V a few times. Never seems to get the trouble of Leeds/Reading. Band lines ups are usually very current with a few old favourites

Went to V this year and it was my first time at a festival. No hassle, really decent music, camping was fine. Plan to get tickets for next year.

If you want to ease yourself gently into a festival, what about Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park, you wont have to camp as you're minutes away from a million hotel rooms! 24 - 26th June next year, they have Bonjovi headlining the Saturday night, no one else has been announced yet though.
