which Drag Race book recommended ?

Hi Draghe@ds,

I had my birthday some time ago and my sister surprised me with a copy of "Iron Horses",
great thought but I had already bought it in the Carter pits when it came out.
So this leaves me with the whole lot of Amazon books to shop.
I have Big Daddy´s biography, the dutch book of historic drag bikes and "High Performance".
Is there another "standard" of DR book that you recommend ?
Does anyone know if the new book of drag biking history only covers UK racers
or also the "foreigners" that raced in England ?

Darrel Gywnn's @ Full Throttle is a brilliant read, as is Force's, although I read that prior to the Ashley update. Erik Arneson is a brilliant biographer IMHO, look forward to more of his books (believe he has a Prudhomme and a Don Schumacher book under way).

Hi Benni,
Loads of great photography books about, but if you want a good read too I'd recommend 'Fuel and Guts: The Birth of Top Fuel Drag Racing' by Tom Madigan. His 'Snake vs Mongoose' book is also excellent.
