"HEADS UP" - Wedges Racing

Just been told that the last 2 rounds of the TVR Dunlop Challenge
are on Motors TV tomorrow (Wednesday 10th) at 6 pm
if you want to watch several Wedges racing at Oulton
including Leigh and also Dave Chant winning the Series.

Usually they do pretty good coverage as well

Cheers
Trickie

There was 5 wedges that raced and finished both racers, one had a bit of a crash though, but was patched up.
Quite a lot of the time there was 3 of us battling. so should have some good wedge coverage.

Some race reports can be seen here
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Opps ETA there was 5 wedges not 4.

The rear is the same height as my 400SE I can just get the Jack, under the car, not having a under spoiler or bumper makes the rear look high esp as its a S1 body.

Been great fun this year, as been able to concentrate on racing and not worrying about the car, had a few problems to keep be busy, but was nice to finish every race.

hehe Mr.K.Gore's car, poor bloke.

I had just commented on the fact that he seems accident-prone to my son, when....CRASH !

Just before the end of the last lap too. rolleyes

Of course next time I'm there the autograph book will be out for Dave, Leigh, and the other Wacers. (Wedge racers). biggrin

Haven't managed to watch it yet but I have a good excuse and did record it.

If it is half as good as the motorsport films I was watching
last night with my other motorclub then it will be brill.

Last night was IDMC (Ilkley & District Motor Club) film night and was
2.5 hours of varied motorsport films from silent black & white
film of bike trials from as far back as 1929 and went right thru all sorts
into colour film up to about 1990 and RAC rallying in the Yorkshire forests

Why can't they show this sort of stuff on TV as there were about 50 people
mesmerised all night with it all.
All washed down with a couple of pints of Yorkshire best ales
GRAND

Cheers
Richard

Haven't you got another Wedge yet?
