Look What Top Gear Did To My Car

Well it was mine until this time last year, when I sold it and the new owner had an unfortunate accident

It did look like this.....




Then this......




Now it seems my old car has been resurrected, but not in the way I thought it might be. Top gear have stuck a comedy body kit on it and are using it at their MPH live show. I think I preferred it as I had it, although it looks good in white

I'm not normally one to rail on TG, but what on earth is the point in that? Anyone seen the show and know what its role is?

As a side note, it is quite funny that they've got rid of Ben Collins, but are using a car formally belonging to another Ben Collins.

It's not my car, and it's not an irreplaceable classic, so it doesn't bother me really. The guy who bought it from me might be upset though.

In the show this is the car 'Stig' drives. Basically he does figure of eights for 5 minutes. Its a bit annoying becasue you cant hear the engines of any of the cars as the music is on way too loud.

Saw this on Saturday, thought it was okay and we could hear the engine every now and again. My first thought when I saw this was "I think it would look good in black"

Looks fairly 'specifically' modified, although I can't work out what it's meant to look like. A little space shuttle like perhaps... who wants to bet that white stiggy meets his maker in this vehicle early on in the series?
