right got to use them up before december the 6th(as they reduce in value then)

If they will let me use them towards a Tudor heritage I may just order one of those and pay the rest.

However the plan was buy one of those anyway and get another with the vouchers smile Not sure they will let me use them against a tudor as they tol me i couldnt use them against a Rolex.

I like this one.

If I can get a bit of a discount and still use the vouchers it may be a goer but I am saving up for the tudor don't mind spending a little towards it £200 max pity they dont sell Ball

The T&C say nothing about not being able to use them on certain brands... I think that you may be able to use them toward your deposit on the 0% finance scheme (I'm sure I saw it advertised on a banner ad... buggered if I can find it again though).

I'm going for this because I've got about £300 to spend when the vouchers turn up - and will get my girlfriend a pair of earrings or something...
Tissot PRC200

But if I had £700, I'd have a look at Oris as already mentioned, but these two are quite nice:
Edox Automatic
Victorinox

Hmm I will have to read the small print sounds like they were fobbing me off. 0% was definitely out they said when using the vouchers don't know where they got that I couldnt use them for rolex from I'll check now on the tesco website.

That Edox looks nice.

cant use with interest free
Tokens can only be used for full price items in their High Street stores (excludes Goldsmiths Outlets) or by calling 0845 604 2320 and cannot be used to purchase sale items or in conjunction with any other special offer, insurance scheme or promotion, including Interest Free Credit. Tokens cannot be used to buy Goldsmiths Giftcards. Full terms and conditions are available at www.goldsmiths.co.uk/tesco

So can't use them if I manage to get a discount either. But yes cant see where it excludes any brand so looks like I will use it for the deposit on the Tudor will just have to put teh rest towards. They want full money before ordering it.

Hmmm, I must have been dreamt that bit... I was looking whilst at work so having fallen asleep isn't completely unrealistic!

I'm certain it's rubbish that certain brands are excluded (I think there was a recent thread about buying quality watches on clubcard points... and yes it mentioned that all discounts were off when it came to using vouchers), however the bit I've made bold above might give them an out on ordering something specially in... but if your local Goldsmiths won't do it, I don't suppose it'd hurt to phone round a few others.

I called the helpline to ask how long vouchers actually last once arrived. Was told 6 months, so will be getting all the current ones at 4x and then the next couple of sets at 3x before making a purchase within 6 months.

Just worth bearing in mind if you aren't quite there with the watch you want to buy, AND have the patience of a saint!

This might turn into a bit of a thread hijack - so apologies in advance!

Tesco vouchers turn up yesterday so went online to convert to Goldsmiths vouchers... they've changed the system and have an online list of all the vouchers unused as yet; as a result I've 'found' another £20 of Clubcard vouchers, resulting in a total of £390 to spend in Goldsmiths - sweet!

So now I have a quandry, do I stick with the Tissot (OK, it's a quartz, but I assume it's a decent quartz movement for that price), or look at Victorinox (again quartz - but another £100 over the Tissot), or this Seiko Diver... or something else?

I've been and tried them and I slightly preferred the Victorinox to the Tissot, but not £100 more (if it were 'real' money), and I would like to get my girlfriend something as well (she's had to put up with a lot [well, me!] over the past few months), she's not really all that into jewellery but I do want to get her something, so I'm still undecided!
