If this doesn't give you a lunch time laugh then I don't know what will.

A Co-op customer in Jersey was overcharged £5 because her cashier's rather large breasts were placed accidentally on the scales.

Expect this to be in The Sun tomorrow with some sort of pun - I was thinking:

Supermarket employee's massive boob
Check out these
What a lovely pear

Anyone got any more?

Anyone else spot the classic line at the bottom from the regional manager?

”But I’ve had 40 years in retail and I’ve never come across anything like this before and I probably won’t again because I’m retiring in January.

”The only thing I can compare to this is that we once had a problem with rhubarb."

Love it

Are they quite sure it wasn't just a large pear?

Hang on..

"We asked the customer if she was satisfied when she left and she said that she was.

”The way I considered this was as an operational issue, I should have put my operational people out to deal with it, I even thought about my security people.

”At the end of the day I decided that I’m the most politically correct individual in the business, so I decided to handle the matter myself.”

This was the supervisor? Calling in Operational Tactical Support Squad 1, as it was considered too risky to have the Security Detail secure the area and with a defensive cordon.
At the end of the day, the SUPERvisor was the most politically correct (and modest) person in the store, and they obviously outranked both other regiments.

Now if the customer had been a bloke does anyone else feel he would have been too distracted to notice?

I once had a PC fault where spurious spaces would appear when one of the PAs was typing a document.

Tried everything, new keyboard, rebuilt OS and apps, replaced PC...........

Took days to figure it out until I noticed that 'they' were hovering close to the space bar.

It was quite awkward explaining to her what was happening, but she took it quite well.

Glorious set they were too, I'm very surprised I didn't notice the root cause sooner.
