Recenntly purchasrd one from halfrauds and approaching Gatso's doesnt go off,only when going past one pointing in opposite direction!! is this normal,do they all do that sir! is the road angel any better?

not all gatso's are turned on so it may not go off all the tim, you need to find one thats working to test it

My RA ignores Gatsos when it can (ie original style ones if they're facing you). Passed one in Ickenham the other day that can face either way.. it alerted me of it, although was facing my at the time.

Beware those newer type, that detect as you approach, i.e. near Silverstone (A43 think it is)

Road angels dont actually 'ignore' Gatsos....cos they dont detect them...they just know the approximate position from the GPS database they have stored.
