I don't mean the same actual car, but more like you sold one and missed it so bought another.

I'm contemplating going back to something I've already had a couple of times, just wondering if others have done / would do the same?

Somehow ended up buying three Citroen Saxo death traps so far - They are cracking good fun in my defence though.

Would consider another one or a 106 GTI, but they are getting on a bit now and nice examples aren't so easy to find.

I would love a refurbished GTI sometime though, perhaps wait for my lottery win?

I stuck with mk1 and mk2 golfs for ages before getting into proper actually worth owning. I've also had two minis, two elises, three mx5s and plan on getting another elise soon.

I guess cars you've previously owned are always a safe bet.

Haven't (yet) but if it was special enough and missed badly, then- hell yes...would buy another to replace it, providing funds are there.

I've had three third generation Honda Preludes, which followed one after another. Now I have a 5th Generation Prelude so there is a clear trend in my habits.

In between the last of the 3rd gen Preludes and the current one I had two Citroen BXs.

When I find a type of car I like I do tend to stick with it.
