Just sold my car in the dark......

I wouldn't buy a car that way myself. A chap rang up asked to come and see the car, arrived within 15 minutes, took it for a test drive, checked the service history, offered close to the asking price and took the car away.

I've never sold a car in the dark before, as well as raining!

What sort of value? I would risk a few hundred if the car appeared to look ok, but not much mroe than that!

Good for you. Perhaps was pushed for time- only free on the evenings, etc. Or didn't want to miss out. But not something i'd do normally either

Do you actually have all of the cash cleared in your bank account yet? Are you absolutely sure any physical money he gave you is not counterfeit?

Might be worth checking.
