very nice, but whats that odd surface/colour nect to the lights?

looks like it still has teh "egg shape" even though it dosnt.

They're bits of tape (look again more closely) as they've thinly disguised the car to make it look more like a 996 from a distance.

To me (looking under the tape) it looks like porsche has 993-ified the 996 to make the 997, almost as if they've admitted they went too far with the design process with the 'bar of soap' 996...

That having been said I really like the GT3 shape (old, I'm not a fan of the new rear spoiler).

Of course, it was the 964 that was the pinnacle of 911 design

964 is my favourite i must admit, but I really like the 996 and I think the 997 is even better. I can see why the have gone back.
