Little scrote smashed my wing mirror!

First rage thread on here so bare with me. I took my wife out last night to a charity pub quiz in aid of Diabetes UK. Hand a grand old time, managed to come second out of 15 teams. Lots of prizes and over £500 raised in aid of the charity. Lots of raffle prizes and the like were handed out as well. On coming back to the car I find my wing mirror cowling on the ground and the wing mirror bent, along with the mirror itself hanging out and smashed. Yeah it's only a wee Clio but damn that boils my piss that someone has such disregard for someone else's property.

I've been lucky, this is the first time I've ever had vandal damage to any of the cars but man did it get me angry. Wasn't even parked in a particularily bad part of town.

:sigh: better go looking for some replacement bits.

Is it illegal to drive with a wing mirror that is a bit smashed up? I've managed to fix it back in the housing but obviously not the best view in the world from it.

IIRC you cant drive without your driver side mirror, but you can without your passanger side.
