E36 318tds

my M3 needs to go in for some rust treatment! Now I will need a car whilst this is being done (do not want to hire) and perhaps drive it over the winter, I have found a 318tds locally with 110k on it for the price of a few days car hire.

Are there any 'special' problems with this motor? Before anyone says it I know they are dog slow but not too bothered

Check that it starts OK when the engine is warm, other than that, just the usual E36 issues (rust and bushes)
