As the title really - comparing two cars as potential purchases and there's 150 litres boot space difference (with the back seats flat). How can I visualise that?

150L is about the total amount of bootspace in an MX5 IIRC.

Well one square meter is 1000 litres.

Or it's about 2 large rucksacks.

It's 10 litres less than the total boot space of a current MINI hatchback, seats up, parcel shelf in place.

just because its 150 litre bigger doesn't mean you can get more stuff in it

Shape is more important then volume

Unless you are transporting liquids around

Thanks to the fridge and Mini examples - picshures help me understand you know jester

Seriously though, it's actually quite alot by the looks of it. When I find figures for back seats up I'll ask again!!
