Giving your car some TLC

Do you ever look at your car and think, it looks great, doesn't owe me a thing, takes you all over the country, have had it for years and hope to keep it for many more?!?!?

I do, but i also get bored and want to keep some interest in the car.

It gets regular oil changes, washed weekly, driven with sympathy etc.

But i just want to spend some money on it! Update it or just give it some TLC!

I have got some detailing products and am going to give it a thorough claying / polishing / sealing / wax, and i have just bought some new bulbs to brighten up the headlights.

Other ideas are tinting the windows a bit / getting alloys refurbed / upgrading the sound system - all just a bit too expensive but definate possibilities.

Has anyone else found themselves thinking the same? Come up with any ideas?

I get like that all the time but i want to keep it standard. Best idea is to put money away for when it goes wrong but i never seem to do that.
