No, i'm not buying one and am worried about getting it up my drive... hehe

But after seeing this:

(aside from the numpty backing it into another car)

I wondered if it has a nose lift system as it's pretty low, and this guy scrapes the chin on a very slight incline.

Just wondering...

It does, but it only moves it higher a few cm.

IIRC if the spoiler is down the nose is up.

The travel adjust on the nose is more to do with high speed aero than ramp angle clearance.

Seems like a glaring omission to me. VW designed the Veyron to be the ultimate car in every respect, so it seems silly that you can't drive it over a speed bump.

Or do they just assume that anyone driving one is so rich they can get someone to flatten the road for them?... hehe

Dealer error I think. They really should have had someone walking behind the car to hold the traffic up for while the driver reversed out safely.

Agreed! That was an accident waiting to happen! Do they not have a reversing camera though?

Dealer or not, the person driving that car clearly doesnt know how to drive a car off a sidewalk/pavement. Forget the car behind him, he went off at a 90 degree angle and didnt have a clue what he was doing.

You'd think a dealer would know how to get out their own garage, that they were in a very low million pound car. Then again you'd think an owner would know which makes me think, they have just picked it up from a new purchase.

The car does have a lifting system (or should be lowering system)

Standard ride height is with the spoiler in down postion like this

If you press this button for a few seconds then the spoiler pops up as well as lowers the ride height

now its in

mode all hunkered down

to look like this which can clearly see is lower

I guess the owner either want to show off just a little more by lifting the spoiler or maybe he needed extra handling mode so he did not have a crash at high speed laugh
