Finance on a private sale?

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase an E90 M3 and have a car to trade in for it, however the used value for trade on mine is silly so I'm going to try and sell it private, clear the current BMW finance and then I'm starting with a clean slate.

Problem is I'm looking at a £30k motor on a private sale and need finance; deposit, monthly payments and a balloon at the end.

Do any companies offer finance like this on private sale used cars? I know Oracle Finance don't and their figures are usually very good.

Try Lombard or you could ask a local indy to broker the sale for you on the agreement you get his finance (as long as the rates are good). He buys the car privateley at the best possible price, you agree a price you are comfortable to pay the deal is done.

+1 for Lombard, they do all my private and business finance, i think you'll find that most brokers also get their finance from them!
