Numerous oops messages, 3 or 4 attempts to post stuff, and taking ages to load each page.

Have you guys at PH towers been forced into buying the Austin Allegro of the Server world?

Nope, for the two minutes silence to work we had to temporarily turn off caching (one of the things which speeds up the site). It should all be back up to speed now.
