MMC vs SD

I'm looking at flash memory cards and the devices we have take MMC or SD.... which is better, as there appear to be cost implications.

Thoughts? Advice? Suggestions?

Cant remember which one though and I dont know how true it was.

Agreed, very interesting. Personally, I've always gone for SD over MMC purely on the basis that you can buy higher capacity (ie 256mb,512mb). The price gap has reduced significantly, even comparable to CF cards which are huge in comparison to SD.
