Hi All,
Jumped in the Noble for a blast today, started her up went to put it in gear and found the clutch pedal has no resistance when you depress it. Needless to say it wont go in any gear and so is stuck in the garage.
Has the clutch given up the ghost? or is it something else? Any opinions welcomed
Many Thanks
Mark

Try bleeding the system through with some fresh fluid, You may have a leak which has caused this but worth trying first.
The bleed nipple is plastic and on the top of the gearbox where the pipe goes in.
The filler is under the front clam to the right of the brake master cylinder.
Matty.

The Corvettes I had (C5 and C6) were famous for fouling their clutch hydraulic fluid. Because I was in the habit of checking it monthly, I checked the Noble right after I took delivery. It was black! The car had under 3000 miles on it then. I used a syringe to drain the clutch master cylinder, then pressure flushed the whole system.
Come to think of it, the master is due for another visual this weekend.
