The Alpine Tour 2010
Discussion
Well it all started on the evening of the 3rd of September 2010, 26 cars and their owners gathered at the Mecure Hyth hotel down south to embark on what was to be the trip of a lifetime. I doubt most of us could sleep that night, because in front of us was 9 days of petrolhead nirvana, nearly 4000 miles of open tarmac and some of the worlds greatest cars. However, its not the cars that made the trip, it was the people, the banter, the getting lost moments and tunnels.
So without further delay may I introduce the Petrolhead Nirvana 2010 Alpine Tour, without doubt the most intense driving tour organised by a group of people who have a passion for driving and adventure.
I could write on and on and on about each thing we came across, the little breakdowns or the French motorists who would speed up whilst you're overtaking them. However I feel that words cannot explain what we all experienced, so I will let the pictures do most of the talking:

Awesome videos Nigel, HAHA I remember that black R8 now who decided to join us for most of the tunnels
Remember I stopped out of sequence for fuel, well the guy in the Audi was at the same fuel station. He was a very well spoken English chap who lived in Germany. Edited by JBOONY on Tuesday 16th November 13:37

We did something similar last year through the TTOC.
The best week of driving ever. Some fantastic, roads and scenery.
There are some cracking photos above. I'll keep my eyes posted for the next one.
