HDMI leads,how many?

Just gutted my lounge and I'm putting TV on the wall.How many HDMI leads should i channel into wall.I had 1 to TV before and all others through the amp.Also would my laptop run through amp,i had it direct to TV before i dismantled everything

My amp sends all feeds through one HDMI to the TV like yours does by the sounds of it. But you could always put in a second cable as a backup?

Personally, I'd sink a run of mt4 sized trunking in (25x40mm) which I reckon is the best compromise of capacity v. practicality of recessing it.

Has the potential for several leads if need be, a combo of HDMI's, coax's, phono's etc, ethernets, so when they bring out HDMI 2.1b+ or whatever poxy standard the 2015 model years tellies won't work properly without it'll be a matter of dropping it in;)
