So, a dodgy, unloved griff = £10k or less maybe?
A perfect resprayed version with that mileage = perhaps £16k?

So take out what it costs in parts and ask yourself if it's worth the effort. My view would be that if *I* wanted to own a perfect car I would undertake it ... but as a money making exercise it may be a struggle.

I'm in this position. I'm selling my Grif 500, and wondering if worth doing up. Wouldn't expect to make a profit on it, just help it sell more easily. Going rate for one with good recent respray and good chassis seems to be agreed as £16k. Good respray cost £3k, yes? How much for a body lift chassis refurb? Could be worth it, although personally, I'd rather get a mechanically good one for £10k or so, and refurb myself, so I know what has been done and by who.
