Drag and drop in Lightroom

I've just upgraded to LR3, and having imported a load of photos from last night, it seems that I cannot now select all and then drag and drop them in to a new collection?! Utterly random, has anyone else come across this issue?

Found an alternative way of doing it. Wonder if it does work though
