drivers door

I am sure this is just something that has started happening recently.

At fast speeds on private roads the drivers door has started vibrating quite signficantly. It seems to do it more with the roof and window up, presumably increasing the surface area that is causing the vibration. It is more pronounced in stronger wind, again presumably linked.

It vibrates to the extent that its hard to see out of the wingmirror due to the vibration. I am sure this never used to happen. Anyone else had this problem? Anything I can do to stop it happening to the same extent?

Sure its not just the wing mirror leg thing thats cracked?

actually, now that I think about it the problem is more the wing mirror and the silver metal piece where the corner glass sits.

Thats just bonded into the door.

thats the puppy. feels like its trying to take off and shaking more than the bonnet at xxx mph

You can bend them in a bit.

When I first got mine the seal around the targa panel was a bit off. Took it into Dick Turpin and they said just bend it in about half inch.

Was all a lot quieter from then on.

Though perhaps check the footing in yours before following my advice and snapping the bugger off.

after what you said I had a closer look at the assembly and compared it to the passenger side. It does appear that the silver framework that creates the quarter glass effect is slightly bent outwards. would explain the heavy buffetting on the drivers side. when stood looking at the car directly from the front, you can see the silver framework on the drivers side, but its hidden on the passenger.

looks like some gently bending is in order. this weekend, i shall mainly be a bender...
