Disabling fuel pump

I read on here a while back you can disable the fuel pump during cranking by removing the relay. I can't find the post though and the search isn't helping.

Is this correct, and which is find the relay? Any pics?

Quite often the ECU is mapped so that at cranking revs, if you've your foot hard on the accelerator, no fuel is injected. It's designed so that if you suspect you've flooded it, you can crank it to clear it.

What you need is TVR special tool number 1

You will get reported for cruelty to TVRs if you do use a tool like that.

Somes times you need to show these cars whos the Boss, im sure mine breaks down just to hack me off

If you pull out fuse 19 that will shut off the fuel pump

Or you can just unplug the ECU

DIsconnect the fuel pump, easy enough, undo 1 little bolt and remove the wire.
