Hello all,

I have a slightly odd issue with my 2.0L 2002 ford focus. When driving the engine temp does not get to the middle position on the scale unless the internal fans are turned to 0. If I turn the fans on again the engine temp drops down to just above cold...any ideas??

Thanks

Adam

bought a old 2.0 ghia estate about a month ago and mines the same i suspect the stat is stuck fully open or nearly ,normally if the heater is on ,the thermostat would reduce the flow to rad to maintain the same running temp but as its stuck poen your getting more cooling than you need ,has this effected your mpg?.
if you sort it let me know
