That is pretty "cool" wink There's another youtube vid with a drive that does that with some Lambos.

Yup! Cool but, hope there is air movement down there once the lift is in the down position.

Possibly, but doubt it. These are usually just a hole in the ground, at least the ones that I have seen before have been.

That's a rubbish garage then, if I had those two sitting in there I'd want the chance to be able to just sit and look at em every now and again.

Plus if the power goes or there's a flood you're right buggered!

I'd imagine that there is some sort of sump-drain down there but, as said, if there is a power failure I'd be a tad concerned.

That is cool, but imagine driving home maybe in a hurry and maybe a bit stressed and parking the car in the wrong place i.e. half on half off the raising platform thing hehe

Isn't this the guy who was featured on the C4 documentary last year regarding personalised number plates?

I believe he was the chap who owned the plate N1 GEL.

IIRC, they were a group of PH'ers cars.

The guy whose garage it was had one of the Countachs.

On a side note, I'm not a fan of these underground garages they have the wow factor but they're far from ideal.

when these things came out they were mentioned afew times in the press. prices seem to start from around £50,000. Insurers love them and cut the price of supercar insurance significantly.

I admit the safety aspect must be a big plus for those looking for supercar storage solutions.

On the insurance side though, it'd take a long time to make £50K back from saving on your insurance.
