how old is too old to play

Ive only recently got back into consoles since getting my ps3 a few months ago and i have to say I really enjoying it especially F1 2010 and looking forward to GT5 in the next week or two. So how old is too old to play, my girlfriend/family think its hilarious that i play computer games especially with a wheel/pedals.

I am 43 and have played ever since my Dad brought home a Binatone Pong!
Used to spend ALL my school dinner money in the cafe at lunchtime trying to get the high score on Space Invaders before I had to go back to classes!
Playing F1 2010 and COD Black Ops at the moment.

There is some very good racing still to be had on the PC game "Live for Speed". It is still about the most realistic when it comes to car physics, great fun with a cockpit

38 and still play. Don't see any problems with it. I could equally be watching something crap on TV and have nothing to show for it; instead I have a laugh with others online and a sense of satisfaction (depending on the game). In the old days, adults played Monopoly and Chess, whilst some people preferred to listen to the wireless.
The only problem I see is when people prefer to play games (or, indeed, watch TV) as opposed to going out and doing stuff like sport or exercise. I have been known to do pull ups or press ups between rounds of Battlefield 2.
Although, I do wonder if people on my squad are puzzled when they hear me panting over the mic. "Have you been masturbating again?"

As opposed to reading a book, watching tv, watching a film, listening to the radio, or listening to a CD where....errr....you have nothing at the end of it. Gaming is just another form of mass entertainment. It seems to be a little misunderstood because it is the youngest of various media that is used by the masses. 28 ? Hey, you've got nothing to worry about, I'm 59 and bought an xbox purely so I could play Forza 3. In fact if I think about it, it was actually the missus who bought it as a Christmas pressie the year it came out.im 28
I couldn't care less what anyone thinks about me sitting down and making brum-brum noises; half the population are glued to X-factor, Coronation St or celebrities sitting around in a jungle every week, so where's the problem ? As far as I'm concerned it's just brain-out entertainment, no more, no less.
