Not that it really concerns me much but what are you getting?
On my 500 serp the best* I have got so far was 23.5mpg on a long run.
I also managed to collect the full set of optimax top trumps cards in one day! (bar the mystry one).
What is that missing card?
*best; could also be read as dullest!

cant believe you are working out MPG on a TVR. I have never worked out mpg on any car i have owned, but when I do it for a TVR I know that I shouldnt have got rid of the mondeo diesel.
I think its quite interesting to work it out to see the difference between cars. Usually end up working it out whilst stuck in a jam.
I generally always got around 30 on the Celicas and closer to 25 on the CRX (always in the VTEC range though!) so I was expecting loads less for the Griff. I guess I drive the griff further each time though.
My Golf is longer than the griff and does ~50MPG every journey!
I have taken the Griff out on 6 days so far and filled it up 8 times!
In the Griff the furthest distance between refills is 220 but that was the first drive up to Donnington and was dangerously close to empty since I couldnt find a garage.
Shortest distance is 190 and had about an 8th left on the fuel gauge. That last quarter disappears quicker than the rest too.

...and IIRC its the Maserati GT Coupe?? as that's the one I'm missing...
I got all excited when I realised I had 2.
Then I read one of the other threads here and realised it has the coupe and not the spyder that everyone wants.
D'oh
yeah, there are a couple of Maseratis one a *lot* rarer than the other

Hi People
New to Pisonheads, and to TVR ownership, so did check fuel consumption of '95 Griff 500 (well, curiosity got the better of me).
First two weeks of ownership 15mpg
Fourth & fifth weeks (didn't check third!!)
18-19mpg
Drove up to Oxford few weeks ago (from Sunny Somerset - 240 miles there and back), averaged 25mpg
Oh how I love owning a TVR (.....so far!! LOL!!)

Hi Guys, I drive quite a few miles in a year, so I like to work out if I can pass a petrol station or not.
You know what I mean. If the gauge shows 3/4 empty then you have to fill up in the next 15 miles etc.
As for MPG buy a diesel.
You don't buy a Griffith to save money.
Mine has a uprated I.C.E. Pack but I prefer to listen to the V8 soundtrack.
