Can't say that name is very appealing to my ears but it seems Lambo are registering it in the US. Maybe it sounds better to German ears?

Doesn't sound like the most dynamic name does it? Diablo and Murcielago have some oomph and excitement to them, Gallardo not so much.

Not as Italian and exotic sounding as some of others. Sounds a bit like a Transformer or something. I thought traditionally they were named after fighting bulls

It wasn't that long ago, OK nine years ago that everyone was questioning the use of Murcielago!

It sounds a little weird now but I'm sure we will grow to love it or at least get used to it.

The article could always be wrong after all it mentions tha the new car will use the Reventons 6.5litre V12, now don't think that's right!
