will 18" 996 Turbo Wheels with 295/30/18 rear & 225/40/18 tyres fit a 1998 996 C2 ???

The stud pattern should be the same; whether they clear the arches is a different matter. Not sure about the effect on handling either.
Why not try the wheels on the car first, if possible?
yeh, I was worried about the offset, but it won't be possible to try them first.
