Living was track cars....
Discussion
As i have said in my other thread i am definitely getting a 944 so have been searching the usual sources on an hourly basis
Anyway i spotted this......

I wouldn't use the car everyday, it's only a weekend toy but i don't know if the novelty would wear off too quickly?
Also i was wondering if people would think it was a bit beardy (not that that bothers me) having to do up a harness for a lift to the pub etc....
Does anybody else have anything like this which they don't use solely on a track?

A bit of extremity is good in the weekend car.
You will apreciate how smooth and quiet the everyday car is, and then love the sound and invovlement of the track car.
There is far more sense of occasion and serious intent when getting into a car like that and doing up the harnesses.
It's hard to say how much rollcage is naer your head, but I think I woudl want a lot more padding on that if I was wearing without a helmet. The stuff he has on doesnt look regulation.

I find with road legal track cars they are good fun but can be a bit of a pain, it's a good idea to have normal seat belts as well as the harness which is a pain for road use/parking etc, but it's easy to retro fit the seat belts if removed. The other thing is lack of carpets and winter = damp/steamed up windows but no big deal.
Rare to find a 944 with a roll cage that is quite a find. If you don't go for it I have a 944 s 16v standard road car which I will be selling soon. Pm me if u'd like some more info it's black, 92k with fsh E Reg 190'bhp £2k
