Help with my trusty old cycle computer

I've got an old Echo W1 (Raleigh), which I guess I've had for the best part of a decade and now on its third bike. However, it's stopped working today. Left it parked up, came back to it, clipped it back on and it now won't register any speed.



In a huff, I replaced the battery in the sender on the fork (it's wireless) and moved it closer to the magnet etc, but still nothing.

The screen displays all information as usual but doesn't read any speed.

Any ideas or is it time for a new one? Cheers.

Could be the contact between the computer and the mouting bracket. 10 years is a really good life for a cycle computer, you could be flogging a dead horse I feel. Good Luck.

I had a similar fault a while back, wireless system. To be honest you're best off chucking it away and replacing it. They're not designed to be repaired.

Yeah it looks like I'll have to buy a new one then. I'll have a play tomorrow but not holding my breath...
