Suggestions for courier to collect set of wheels..

I'm looking at a set of alloys in the North East, does anyone have a suggestion of a courier/carrier to collect them and deliver to Surrey/Sussex?

I would suggest Loadup.co.uk to post your needs, it is full of domestic jobs that couriers look at to help cover costs on the return journeys, I used it all the time to help cut costs when I was a courier.

Sorry, forgot to say, as an example from loadup: Once I was in London and heading back to Yorkshire and some one had a set of garden furniture they wanted taking from Enfield to Sheffield, I charged them £50 to do it as it was on my way. This covered what would have been "empty" miles. By all means go for a dedicated courier but you will pay for it.

I bought some alloys for my old TT, I used interparcel, booked each wheel as an individual parcel, the guy wrapped them up in carpet to protect from scratches etc, it was £36.

Bummer for you i was in cambridge area today and am passing surrey tomorrow otherwise i would have been quite happy to pick it up and drop it off for you for a token tenner or so.
If anyone else has a need for anything to be fetched and carried i may be able to help providing its something that could fit in a saloon car as i travel all over the place.
