Very simple Who is the worst element of the otherwise wonderful BBC F1 team ?
Obviously my choice is Leggard http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... ) - but EJ ain't much better and even Jake gets a bashing as well.
DC adds very little - but is great at knocking EJ !

Someone should forward this to the BBC, somewhat of a landslide.

It was a tough choice but for me Eddie Jordan is marginally more annoying than the very annoying Jonathan Legard. Jake, DC and Brundle are very good as are Ant Davidson and David Croft (who I prefer to the Brundle/Legard combo).

At least EJ can't ruin the race, which is the main event after all.

Have really enjoyed what the BBC have added to the f1 coverage it's a superb program spoiled by the non stop shouting / nonsense from J Legard who does not seem to understand what is going on and either falls behind what is happening on screen, talks over Martin Brundles insightful comments or just rambles on at top volume. Clearly there is only one person letting the show down.

Whilst I found his prattling and lack on knowledge "irritating" on Sunday, I wouldn't go as far as trying to get the guy fired.

Mind you, out of the rest I like EJ as he sticks out like a sore thumb and is THE ideal counter for all the slicked down corporate that is F1 today. (yes DC, I'm talking about you)

Rather amusingly, the message I got whilst my vote processed was the "ITV telephone poll" one.. wink

classic (rough paraphrase) -
JL "Oh he's lost his front wing"
MB "No, that's his rear wing"
JL "Whatever - he's still got to pit"

Slightly O/T, but what is with DC and EJ wearing match blue trousers? As for the poll, Legard is by far the biggest tt of the bunch. That said, he's still a breath of fresh air comparatively speaking with James Allen.

JL and EJ both need shooting. But JL needs it just a bit more. Close run thing though.

Voting looks very close, but I went for Legard to put him over the top.

That was pretty funny and well saved by Legard, if he meant it intentionally biggrin

Did anyone see EJ 'interview' Dietrich Mateschitz during the Red Button coverage after the race? He did an excellent job of diving into the crowd, eventually grabbing hold of Mataeschitz and dragging him to the camera, then proceeded to interview him by telling how proud he must be and what a good job Red Bull had done - Mateschitz couldn't get a word in edge ways! DC and Brundle are constantly having to correct EJ, even more often than Brundle has to correct Legard.

When the BBC got F1 back, like many, I was pleased to not have the adverts and James Allen.

I watched the first race and thought that the only weak point was Jonathan Legard but I was willing to give him time to change from radio guy to a TV guy.

We are now at the end of the second year and Legard has not got any better.
The wing bit yesterday was very bad, was he not watching what we were seeing?
But much worse was the rambles he seems to do - just talking because he thinks he needs to.

Eddie Jordan is very good - he is doing just what the BBC and the fans want - being contriversial!

How can any male dislike Lee!
