this is my old engine (4.2) i sold it to a company called PMI when the camshaft snapped. i believe they are showcasing it at the autosport show at the NEC next year.

yes Ls1 fitted to it, should have it back in a couple of weeks

its been fully rebuilt, it looked nowhere near that good when i had it plus it was in bits.

I can see they have fitted 4.5 induction, but is it still standard internals, i e 4.2

Im going to re build a AJP in the new year, hence my intrest

Russ, a guy called Craig Taylor. he is tinker-27 on here, he's in birmingham and has done loads of LS conversions in many different cars, he also done brummies car

why the LS1, as there are newer, more powerfull versions?
did you use the Cerbera's gearbox?
did you use the Cerbera's ECU?

Tel us some more about the conversion.

I used the LS1 because there was one avalable at the right price. I've had new heads, cam and new intake so should be pushing out quite a bit of power, I've also been told that if I need more power I can go silly and have over 500rwhp N/A
I've gone with the tko 600 gearbox with an LS 3 clutch
I am using the cerbera ecu

You must be relatively local if you're having it converted there. I'm in Redditch and I'm planning to buy another Cerb in the new year. Would be good to catch-up.

Do post some pics when you get it back and tel us how your experiences are. Steve Heath's ls1 pushes out 368hp. Standard with a good tune.

If you have the funds, you can go pretty wild weith the hp's! I drove a LS7 Vortech supercharged Corvette from my customer today (yes, I have a nice job)!!! It has 760hp's and drove like a dream. Silly engine's.
