About to list a mid size omega SMP mid black bezel auto on here. All paper and box, serviced by omega this year, no face or bezel scratches - very good condition.

Advice on price?

£1k+ sounds too much to me.
How old is it?
£700-800 unless it's a newer co-axial one I would have said.

Sounds nearer the mark to me for a private sale.

Yeh, thats more like what I was expecting. Any idea what Jewlers pay as "trade in"? Do they bend you over as much as car dealers?

Id have thought 1k ish (perhaps just under) as its an auto

700-800 is more in the realms of Quartz's i would think.

Obviously depending on condition and who/were you are selling too (Private, trade etc)

It has been a while since i looked though.

£1-1.1k is about right for a co-ax so definitely under the grand mark for the old none co-ax I'd have said?

It's a mid-size though, they don't fetch anything like as strong money. frown
I'm just about to put my mid-size Blue auto up for sale, it has B&Ps (and is a bit battered! smile) and wouldn't expect to get anymore than £500-550.

Depends. What is it? First offer will never be in your favour - as with cars, look at the cost to swap.

£700 actually sounds relatively good for a P/X.
What are you trading for, if you weren't P/Xing would you expect much of a discount?

Agree 700 seems a good price, but price to change is the one to watch for (no pun intended). It's also pretty much the top end for any mid size imho.

What type?

Size? Chrono? Strap?

Is it currently up at £1,700?

What discount would you get for cash?

If you're happy with £700 for your watch then can I come with you and barter the SMPO down to say £1,400 and give you £500 for yours?
