Easily I reckon, I got just under 500 miles from a 1 1/2 tanks at the weekend but that was using the UK motorway network with it's average speed cameras, traffic etc etc

When I drive to Denmark from Brussels (1000 km), I get about 500-530 km out of a tank, with cruising speeds around 180 kph, so 641 should be just about feasible with two tanks.

I get 500km out of an E60 tank on long continental drives. Is the E39 tank 70 litres too? If so, you should be fine.

I achieved 30mpg on an economy run last month, and easily squeak 400 miles out of the 70l tank - the M5 is a surprisingly frugal engined car when driven smoothly...

hehe

Note my emphasis on smoothly, I didn't add in 'hoof it anywhere' purelly because of the way it viciously bum rapes the mpg...

Go north of 120, and say goodbye to your hard earned average.

Bluewater. It's slightly different to Silverstone Blue and I believe only found on facelift M5s.
