Business must be good in the tyre / exhaust trade!
Discussion
At the weekend I phoned two companies as I need a new exhaust for the Audi.
Neither had stock, and neither could they quote a price, promising to call back on Monday.
I don't know if they meant Monday this week, next week or some other Monday in the future perhaps....?
So business must be that good, that they can simply forget about potential customers apparently.
I once ran my own TV repair business, and I would chase every opportunity.
Obviously these guys don't need to.
So..
If anybody knows of a decent exhaust fitter, with stock of center and rear sections for a '99 A4 1.8T Quattro in the Leeds / Harrogate vicinity, do kindly let me know.

If a company does not bother calling me back when they promise to, and there is a reasonable alternative, I will not use them anymore. If they can't be bothered with my business, I can't be bothered to use them.
As a small business owner, calling people back when promised is the single most important thing you can do when generating leads, and dealing with customer service.
I did work at a place years ago (callcenter work), where if you did not call customers back when promised, you got a written warning. Two of those, you are out. Usually I don't agree with these types of policies, in this case I make an exception.
