My roof has started leaking again and in this weather its not pleasant. I cannot for the life of me work out how the water is getting in. Im probably making a mountain of a molehill, but I dont think taking it my my local mechanic is going to help.

I cant work out if it is the roof or the seals, the water is coming in from such a random place with no obvious entry points.

What type of place would be the best place to go to? I have considered a dealer but im not a huge fan.

Any suggestions?

Im in Berkshire so around here somewhere would be good.

Thanks.

ETA: its a MK1

It overflows from the inside of the window seal at the point where the seal meets the A pillar.

if i press it then the water comes up and over the top and dripps down.

(does that make sense?)

There is a tube that runs from the cup at the top down the rubber seal. Have you made sure that is clear?

Nope.

When i discover that it is blocked, how does one go about clearing it? coat hanger?

If it is clear, whats the next thing to check.

(as you can tell, ive no idea what im doing)
