My remote adjustment cable broke - a split pin working free had jammed the mechanism. Andrew's SR3 didn't have this extra stop nut with pin (wanted to compare). Any bright suggestions on how to set it to neutral (dry balance) again - equal distance to the clevis' by eye, or is the best thing to just drive it until it feels right? Fine in the wet, but worry about getting flat spots in the dry!

I have only raced a radical once, but the procedure should be the same for all cars.

Safest braking is at the front, but better braking involves getting as much help from the back as you safely can.... allowing a little margin for downchanges, bumps or any slight turn that may have to be made while braking hard.

The rear brakes should never lock under straight braking. Start there. Then put more to the back (a turn or so at a time) until it gets a little unsettled when any of the above happen. As bumps and downchanges only last a fraction of a second, the grip will return to the back before you spin. If you don't like the unsettled feeling, put more to the front.

For the wet, you need MORE braking on the back as the grip is lower on all 4 wheels and the weight transfer to the front is LESS, therefore the Back has RELATIVELY more grip than in the dry.

Count the turns and remember them so you can return to your defalt setting,
