Looking for good reasons not to get one. Always liked them but never driven one. Is it a bad drive? Will I find it very dull compared to my MX5? Any mechanical issues?

My sister had a mazda 3 sport, but not the MPS. From what i can remember she didnt have any complaints about the car, but no real enthusiasm for it. She didnt like it in the snow. (had a focus before and snow driving was much better in that)
She had a problem with one of the lights or something!?!? :S which to get sorted needed Mazda to fix, who wanted about £1k to fix...

There's someone local who's got a Mazda 3 MPS who had the same commute as me last year, he wheel spun alot when it wasnt bone dry out, (Could just be his heavy right foot). He didnt take care of it anyhow, before my NA warmed up he had already started putting his foot down... (We were going the same way, the same time, with 2 streets between us.
