3.55 ratio diff

has anyone here tried the 3.55 rear diff ?
if so what were the results ?

Yes. In my opinion, a great mod for cars with modest power. But at the amount of power I have now (around 550bhp) traction is an issue in the first three gears. Maybe I need better tires though...

I've got 3,55 gears with 551bhp and love it!

Can actually use 6th gear when going 60mph.

Traction can be an issue, but I run Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, so traction is perfect.

I changed my 5th and 6th gear to leave the others as they where and no recalibration box ....with a bit more than 500hp and love it 5th and 6th are now usable

A bit! with them numbers my todger is a bit more than 5" = 8" and some

what make gears are the best and what will I need to finish the job ?

I have non oem 19" rears so how will I get the correct speedo reading with 3.55 ratio ?

Q1 , he asked if anyone had tried it, i said yes

Q2 he asked what the results were, well i took out one gear with a set diameter and number of teeth and put in another with a bigger diameter with more teeth, mathematics show the bigger cog turns less per engine rpm therefore with the same hp i get more tqs but less distance with the new gear.

2 different technologies although thay both have ratio things, stoichiometric ratio and rotational ratio, by adjusting the ratios you will change the torque and burn rate
