Starter solenoid!

Post a picture John, there are quite a few different starters. I now look very carefully for ones that are easy to dismantle... after my prestolite sealed version experience.

Hi Dave, have just been kindly given an identical starter and solenoid by Rocket Pepper [ who is "banned" but is still a helpful bloke ] so I hope that a change of solenoid will cure it. Meanwhile the old one is going in a bucket of diesel and maybe a flush will be a fix. Will post some photos if unsuccessful, cheers, John.
