Without the expense! lols...
Good idea on the AROC. Just been watching Wheeler dealers and they had a 72 model on that they are reviewing... Great write up!

Thanks. My Dad now has my S4, So I still get to see and use it occasionally without the expense!!
Might be worth posting in the wanted section on AROC or in the classic forum on Alfaowner.com?

I have a 1970 spider. My profile shows the general running costs etc that I have encountered.
I would say that my car is condition 2, going by the 'Practical Classics' rating system. There is still a bit of cosmetic tidying to do, but mechanically and bodywork she is sound.
I think I was very lucky coming across her when I did.
Great cars. Fun, fast (ask the folk on the Alfa run down to Hopeton house, they were surprised I managed to keep up! as was I! ). And best of all it makes you feel really special when you drive it, even if you have just forked out £900 for whatever.

Alfachick... Thanks for the update.. That's a nice spider you have in my favourite colour too!!! Very classy!
Feel free to add any new pics! Does your model have the two small seats in back?

Hey there, yes she does have a 'bench' in the back. Although anyone with legs can't really fit in. But they are good to put stuff on.
Thanks for the complements
There is a small list of things that still need doing, like a new hood and some small rust repairs where the paint has been chipped on the door edges and stuff. But she is in good nick generally. And old cars always have a list
Have you looked on www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk they often have spiders for sale on there.
Thanks for the complements

Thanks for the update... I had forgot about that site! I agree with the "list" for older cars.. Its a bit like a rainbow, never getting to the end!
