Just got the email from Wiggle telling me that my Garmin Edge 800 with Adventurer maps is on it's way.
Does anyone here have any reccomendations for a good beginners guide to downloading and using gps files?

Cheers

The best guides I've seen are the ones on the Audax UK website. How relevant they'll be for the 800, I have no idea - I am an Etrex HCX user.

I've just got an Edge 800. I think I now have more technology and sensors on my bike than they had for the moon landings.
No more excuses for being lost and/or slow. wink

Garmin's own web site (Garmin Connect) seems fine for uploading recorded runs but others are better for route planning, Bike Route Toaster being my personal favourite.
